Roofing Choices

Asphalt Shingles

Asphalt Shingles

Primarily used on residential homes and the most popular roofing material in the Twin Falls, Magic Valley, and surrounding communities. Asphalt shingles offer consumers the broadest array of colors, shapes, and textures available; an expansive range of styles; match most types of architectural designs; and achieve virtually any desired aesthetic effect. Shingle roofs are affordable, last for 20 to 25 years, and offer your home effective, affordable protection.

Low Slope (Flat) Roofs

Low Slope (Flat) Roofs

Flat roofing systems can be done in a variety of ways. At Rain Guard Roofing we recommend using a single ply membrane roofing material. The seams and roof penetrations are heat welded to provide a water tight and long lasting roof. No maintenance is needed with a membrane roofing system.

Roof Maintenance

Roof Maintenance

It isn't always necessary to replace or re-roof your commercial building. We offer a number of maintenance plans to extend the life of your current roofing system.

Tile

Tile

Tile roofing has a rich, beautiful look that any homeowner would be proud of. Made from concrete or clay, this is a durable but fairly expensive roofing material. Concrete tiles are made from sand, water, cement and pigments, and are not fired like clay tiles, but cured at temperatures of approximately 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The curing process makes them sturdy enough to be transported and laid within a few days of manufacture, and they get stronger over time. Concrete tiles are recommended for our climate and can achieve the same aesthetics of a traditional clay tile roof. There are additional truss design and load bearing requirements for this product due to the additional weight.

Metal Roofs

Metal Roofs

Metal roofs are available in a wide range of prices and aesthetic choices. Metal roofs offer your home exceptional fire protection and have a lifespan of 50+ years.

Wooden Shake/Shingle

Wooden Shake/Shingle

Wood roofing is predominately made from cedar, but can also be made from redwood and southern pine. The primary difference between shakes and shingles is that shingles are machine-sawn while shakes are hand split for a rougher appearance.
